I&#8217;m currently using 32 <a title=\"Official WordPress Plugin Site\" href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\/extend\/plugins\/\">WordPress plugins<\/a>!  Sure, it seems like a lot when you put an exclamation mark at the end, but I need each &#8216;n every one of &#8217;em I tells ya, honest.  In fact, I have so many plugins that I <strong>need<\/strong> a plugin to help me review them all.  Here&#8217;s my list of currently installed plugins, each accompanied by a brief review:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ol>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yellowswordfish.com\/334\/drop-down-menus-in-wordpress-admin\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit plugin homepage\">Advanced-Admin-Menus<\/a> by <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yellowswordfish.com\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit author homepage\">Andy Staines<\/a><\/em><br \/>Drop Down Menus for WordPress Admin Panels\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li><strong>Review:<\/strong> Saves time navigating the WordPress Administration panels but loses time forcing the menus to retract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.g-loaded.eu\/2006\/01\/05\/add-meta-tags-wordpress-plugin\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit plugin homepage\">Add Meta Tags<\/a> by <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.g-loaded.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit author homepage\">George Notaras<\/a><\/em><br \/>Adds the <em>Description<\/em> and <em>Keywords<\/em> XHTML META tags to your blog&#8217;s <em>front page<\/em> and to each one of the <em>posts<\/em>, <em>static pages<\/em> and <em>category archives<\/em>. This operation is automatic, but the generated META tags can be fully customized. Also, the inclusion of other META tags, which do not need any computation, is possible. Please read the tips and all other info provided at the configuration panel.\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li><strong>Review:<\/strong> Great automatic setup, much better than default WordPress Meta behavior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/akismet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit plugin homepage\">Akismet<\/a> by <em><a href=\"http:\/\/ma.tt\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit author homepage\">Matt Mullenweg<\/a><\/em><br \/>Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wordpress.com\/api-keys\/\">WordPress.com API key<\/a> to use it. You can review the spam it catches under &#8220;Comments.&#8221; To show off your Akismet stats just put\n<pre>&lt;?php akismet_counter(); ?&gt;<\/pre>\n<p> in your template.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li><strong>Review:<\/strong> Works great!  Only one false positive, no spam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/lorelle.wordpress.com\/2006\/10\/04\/batch-image-uploader-wordpress-plugin-and-image-plugins\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit plugin homepage\">Batch image upload<\/a> by <em>Tony Gambone<\/em><br \/>Upload and resize a bunch of images at once\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li><strong>Review:<\/strong> Still not sure about this one, I may start using image gallery software like <a href=\"http:\/\/coppermine-gallery.net\">CopperMine<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/gallery.menalto.com\">Gallery<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/cinnamonthoughts.org\/wordpress\/commenter-spy\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit plugin homepage\">Commenter Spy<\/a> by <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daniel-gattermann.de\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit author homepage\">Daniel M. Gattermann<\/a><\/em><br \/>Replaces the standard WHOIS link (click on a commenter&#8217;s IP) with a query to display the commenter IP&#8217;s <a hreF=\"http:\/\/geomaplookup.cinnamonthoughts.org\/\">geographical location<\/a> on a map (requires JavaScript). Also adds a link to comment moderation and notification emails sent by WordPress.\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li><strong>Review:<\/strong> Lets me click one link to see where a person leaving a comment is located. Handy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ideathinking.com\/wiki\/index.php\/WordPress:CodeHighlighterPlugin\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit plugin homepage\">CodeHighlighter<\/a> by <em><a href=\"http:\/\/ideathinking.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit author homepage\">Wongoo Lee<\/a><\/em><br \/>Syntax highlighter for souce code using GeSHi.\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li><strong>Review:<\/strong> A &#8220;Must Have&#8221; for anyone regularly posting code on their site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/kimmo.suominen.com\/sw\/dofollow\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit plugin homepage\">DoFollow<\/a> by <em><a href=\"http:\/\/kimmo.suominen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit author homepage\">Kimmo Suominen<\/a><\/em><br \/>Disable the &#8220;nofollow&#8221; tagging for comments. The descriptions have been manually edited to remove some links.  The &#8220;Reviews&#8221; are not part of the plugins normal output.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ilfilosofo.com\/blog\/wp-db-backup\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit plugin homepage\">WordPress Database Backup<\/a> by <em><a href=\"http:\/\/skippy.net\/\">Scott Merrill<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/ilfilosofo.com\/blog\/\">Austin Matzko<\/a><\/em><br \/>On-demand backup of your WordPress database. Navigate to Manage &rarr; Backup to get started.\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li><strong>Review:<\/strong> Pretty handy.  I use it right before I think I&#8217;m about to do something stupid.
